Under the new regulations by Federal law, no airline can deny paying compensation to their passengers for a flight delay of more than 3-4 hours if the delay is due to staff shortage. But well, the Air Canada flight delay compensation claim of me and my wife was rejected even though our flight was delayed by 6 hours. Now I am calling on the helpline number for further assistance.

Air Canada flight from New Orleans to Toronto got delayed by more than 5 hours and I and my family had to book a hotel to stay in. I applied for Air Canada delay compensation which got rejected by the airlines for God knows what reason. According to their policies at least they have to pay us for the extra expenses which occurred due to the delay. What should I do now?
